RtFN Strategic Actions
- Support vulnerable communities’ claims to the right to land, seed/ breed, water, forest and fishing, with special emphasis on women, poor and marginalized indigenous communities.
- Support to organize vulnerable communities (landless, wage laborers, poor peasants, small land holders famers’ etc.) and work with them to claim and secure their rights through mobilization, capacity building, advocacy and campaigning.
- Advocate for public policies and programs that ensure the right to land, water and forest to the vulnerable communities and hold state accountable for effective implementation of such policies.
- Link poor peoples’ initiatives to national level so as to influence international institutions that effect the right to land, water, forests, seeds etc of poor and excluded communities.
Advocate for women’s access to land.
