Interaction program on Agriculture Development Strategy (ADS) for Social Justice and its current status
Interaction program on Agriculture Development Strategy (ADS) for Social Justice and its current status held on 20 October 2014, Kathmandu. Fifty seven participants representing from government, farmers groups, agro experts, CSO and journalist participated. The objective of the program was to bring together various stakeholders to discuss about current status of ADS, its pros and cons. Furthermore, to have direct one to one interaction with the chairperson and members of the concerned Agriculture and Water Resources Committee of the Legislature-Parliament in order to have firsthand information. During the program, there were discussion on ADS nature, its credibility, vision, strategies, sustainability, inclusiveness, pros and cons, adequacy and how to make it in Nepalese perspective.
